The popularity of sustainable eating has grown in the past couple of years. We’ve seen the rise of veganism and organic produce in the past few years. While we still have more progress to make if we want to find the path to recovery, this is a start. Eating vegan once a week can make bigger difference than you think. Eating a completely vegan diet can cut your carbon footprint in half. A vegan diet means cutting animal products out. The emissions emitted through animal agriculture is astronomical.
Composting food wastes is another great adjustment we can make to help out the planet. You can even put it to use in a home garden, which is another thing we can implement.
Buying locally sourced produce and eating organic foods is another adjustment we can make. Admittedly, sustainable eating can be costly.
