If you’re like me, you have a big sweet tooth. I can resist salty snacks, but I have no willpower when it comes to sugar. Unfortunately, sugar is terrible for the human body. As we get closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, I know I am going to overload on desserts. I’m also sure that everyone will join me in binge eating pie, the real hero of Thanksgiving and not the turkey. That’s why I’ve scoured the internet to find the perfect healthy holiday recipes.
As soon as September ends, pumpkin pops up everywhere. Personally, I really like pumpkin flavored things. My favorite is pumpkin pie. However, pumpkin pie isn’t known for its low calorie count. Let’s also not pretend that we aren’t going to eat more than one piece per sitting. Also, you can’t have pie without ice cream. That’s just no fun. Try this sugar-free pumpkin pie recipe just in time for the holidays.
While I am partial to pumpkin pie, I am more than aware that people love apple pie just as much if not more. I must confess that I’ve never grown fond of it. I had a bad experience and tainted the entire dessert for me. However, this naturally-sweetened apple pie has potential to change my mind.
The last pie recipe I want to share with you is by far the easiest one! It’s a no-bake pie, and there isn’t any cream cheese, cool whip, or graham cracker crust. I know that sounds like a boring pie, but I promise you that this is a real winner. Peanut butter Pie isn’t exactly a holiday staple, but it’s perfect for any season.
