As someone who has started to build to muscle growth, I’ve had to change my diet. I usually eat well enough, but I focus more on heart health. I’ve started working out more, and I would like to focus on building muscle over losing weight. While working out is great and is the primary reason I’ve gained any muscle, diet is important too. I’ve started to incorporate some of the best foods for muscle growth in my meals. Foods that are high in protein are usually the ones to go for.
For breakfast, I’ve started to include eggs. Eggs have high-quality protein as well as good fats. Let’s not forget that eggs also have vitamins. I usually also have Greek yogurt with some fruits and nuts mixed in. Dairy, like eggs, contain high-quality protein. Yogurt is rich in probiotics, and Greek yogurt usually contains more.
Beans and chicken make up the rest of my protein for the day. If you aren’t feeling meat or trying to remove meat from your diet, beans are an excellent replacement. They’re simple to prepare and delicious. One of the best things for you when gaining muscle is chicken. Like the others, it’s high in protein and vitamins. Let’s not forget that chicken can also help with losing fat, which would help with toning.
